This concert will be the “debut” of new our Musical Director, Andrew Malovance. Andrew completed his Bachelor of Music Education degree at DePaul University and his Masters in Music Education with emphasis in conducting at Colorado State University. Currently assistant principal cornet of the renowned Chicago Brass Band, Andy has performed and competed across the world. He has selected a program that will highlight the breadth of genres available in the brass band repertoire.
The Madison Brass Band is thrilled to return to Oakwood for another Christmas Concert! The band will again help young & old embrace the spirit of the holidays with a wide variety of holiday selections, liberally sprinkled with Brass Band standards that show off the virtuosity of our accomplished ensemble. From traditional classical arrangements, to jazzed up versions of traditional holiday tunes to pop favorites, our program will be varied and exciting!
